The primary purpose of this job position is to provide assistance in all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures. This position requires applicant to work day shift within the dietary department.

Job Description:

Assist with food preparation and tray service for residents. Perform cleaning duties, and stocking nourishment centers/refrigerators.

Duties Include:

• Preparing food, nourishments/snacks, and drinks following correct procedure.

• Serve meals ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times.

• Deliver food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas using correct procedures.

• Assist in inventory and food storage of in-coming food, supplies, etc.

Preferred Skills:

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.

• Must have or obtain food handler's permit and maintain thereafter.

• Must possess, as a minimum, an 8th grade education.
